connection time out because of a WRONG_KEY (WPA-PSK client connection)

Hi All,
after struggling for a couple of few days with my rtl8182fs wifi card i have fixed some issues with it.

I've added few patches to rockchip kernel 4.4:
- ipv4: add option to drop unicast encapsulated in L2 multicast
- ipv4: add option to drop gratuitous ARP packets
- ipv6: add option to drop unicast encapsulated in L2 multicast
- ipv6: add option to drop unsolicited neighbor advertisements

Now with this patch all is working for me (i can run hotspot, i can connect to the client wifi) with wpa_supplicant 2.6. The problem is that this driver supposedly supports wpa3. So in order to have it support available i have switched from wpa_supplicant 2.6 to 2.9. But the real problem started. I am no longer able to connect to my wifi. As i was able earlier to connect to WPA-PSK encryptet network now i am not able to. The log looks like that:

Feb 11 17:56:45 px30-64 wpa_supplicant[249]: wlan0-vxd: SME: Trying to authenticate with ec:08:6b:e7:f3:40 (SSID='beherith' freq=2462 MHz)
Feb 11 17:56:46 px30-64 wpa_supplicant[249]: wlan0-vxd: Trying to associate with ec:08:6b:e7:f3:40 (SSID='beherith' freq=2462 MHz)
Feb 11 17:56:46 px30-64 wpa_supplicant[249]: wlan0-vxd: Associated with ec:08:6b:e7:f3:40
Feb 11 17:56:46 px30-64 wpa_supplicant[249]: wlan0-vxd: CTRL-EVENT-SUBNET-STATUS-UPDATE status=0
Feb 11 17:56:57 px30-64 wpa_supplicant[249]: wlan0-vxd: Authentication with ec:08:6b:e7:f3:40 timed out.
Feb 11 17:56:57 px30-64 wpa_supplicant[249]: wlan0-vxd: CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED bssid=ec:08:6b:e7:f3:40 reason=3 locally_generated=1
Feb 11 17:56:57 px30-64 wpa_supplicant[249]: wlan0-vxd: WPA: 4-Way Handshake failed - pre-shared key may be incorrect
Feb 11 17:56:57 px30-64 wpa_supplicant[249]: wlan0-vxd: CTRL-EVENT-SSID-TEMP-DISABLED id=0 ssid="beherith" auth_failures=1 duration=10 reason=WRONG_KEY

I see that it has succesfully been associated, but handshake failed due to the connection time out. Can anybody point me what am i missing? Does wpa_supplicant 2.9 may run on kernel 4.4 or do i need a newer one? I've been searching for reason why this situation occurs and found that timer has passed (10 seconds) during handshake and that is why connection is being closed, but that still doesn't tell me anything.

Piotr
