Dear All, I am currently looking to enable 802.11W support in EMMY1 ublox wifi/bt chip. I have enabled hostapd v2.6 in server side and wpa-supplicant 2.9v in client side. Linux kernel version used in 4.14.98 When trying to initiate connection from client side using wpa supplicant, I am receiving below error. It seems association happens but it fails afterwards [1464.233746] wlan: Connected to bssid d4:XX:XX:XX:3e:4d successfully mlan0: Associated with d4:ca:6e:64:3e:4d mlan0: CTRL-EVENT-SUBNET-STATUS-UPDATE status=0 mlan0: WPA: Failed to set PTK to the driver (alg=3 keylen=16 bssid=d4:ca:6e:64:3e:4d) mlan0: CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED bssid=d4:ca:6e:64:3e:4d reason=1 locally_generated=1 mlan0:WPA: 4-Way Handshake failed - pre-shared key may be incorrect mlan0: CTRL-EVENT-SSID-TEMP-DISABLED id=0 ssid="testing" auth_failures=1 duration=10 reason=WRONG_KEY mlan0: CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-FAILED ret=-1 retry=1 1. Can you please let me know why such error comes from wpa supplicant 2. Can you please let me know what settings to be enabled and disabled for supporting 802.11w standard in ublox chip for wpa-supplicant and kernel Thanks for your support. I am waiting for your reply since I am unable to proceed -- Thanks and Regards Jeffin Joys _______________________________________________ Hostap mailing list Hostap@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/hostap
