thanks again!

The strangest thing about that is that exactly _that_ configuration
worked just fine on a same hardware - same AlixBoard and same WIFI
dapter. So I took the boot device (CF card) and put it back into the box
I know it would work - and it works!

So it could be a basic examination to find the differences of both WIFI
adapters, but now that I have a working one, I am glad and don't think I
want to spend more time with the not-working one.
