Never mind, the SME/IES check appears to be enough after all. I
mistakenly thought that I was comparing the latest Git wpa_supplicant
to my patched wpa_supplicant when in fact I was comparing the default
Raspbian wpa_supplicant to the latest Git wpa_supplicant. And of
course I didn't notice until after I sent the patch, sorry. For what
it's worth, now that bit of code has gotten some extra testing :-)
