Good Morning,
I am working on a Hotspot 2.0 project and I am running into an issue.
I have searched the web but cannot really find anything.
I have configured hostapd to broadcast a H2.0 SSID and that seems to
work. However, when a H2.0 compatible phone tries to associate, it
fails and the association response coming from the AP contains the
following error code: "Status code: Robust Management frame policy
violation (0x001f)".
In the hostapd logs, I can see the following:
"HS 2.0: PMF not negotiated by release 2 station MAC_Address"
I have attached a copy of my hostapd configurations to this email.
Some details about my setup:
- OS: Ubuntu Server 18.04 (Kernel 4.15.0-74)
- NIC: Sparklan WUBR-508N (Chipset Ralink RT5572)
