Hi, Forwarding yet another issue; this time, with BCM4360 :( ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Andreas Henriksson <andreas@xxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 15 Jan 2019 at 14:03 Subject: Bug#919389: wpasupplicant: 2.7 fails to connect to (hidden) network To: Debian Bug Tracking System <submit@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Package: wpasupplicant Version: 2:2.7-3 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, I'm running buster but installed wpasupplicant from unstable to test as there recently was a call for testing of the new 2.7 version before buster release. I'm having problems connecting to my hidden wifi network. I'm using the broadcom proprietary wifi driver (which is generally is a "barely usable" state, like you would expect from a proprietary driver). I'm not sure if any of the above parameters are relevant though. Trying connect to another SSID on the same AP that is _not_ hidden didn't work either. Downgrading to wpasupplicant/testing makes things work again for me. ie. 2:2.6-21 works. (The version from experimental, 2:2.7+git20190108+11ce7a1-1, seems to behave the same way as the version in unstable. ie. not working.) The AP I'm trying to connect to is "Unifi AP AC Pro".
