I have tested your series of patches.
It causes 7 failures of test cases.
Before applying patches, no failure.

My linux-wireless(4.18.0-rc4-wt) kernel version is this.
commit f13abfe1321aac61ca3310f23873a25e44a78352
Author: Bob Copeland <me@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Date:   Mon Jul 9 08:40:50 2018 -0400

    Add localversion to identify builds from this tree

My hostap version is this.
commit 420b5dd81490f9a7c14af4d639f4a9a10f5ea3ce
Author: Kiran Kumar Lokere <klokere@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

    Define test config QCA vendor attribute for HE MAC padding duration
You're test result of pure hostap (none mesh dfs) is different from mine. I'm not sure if it's because of kernel and hostap version or something else.
My hostap version is

commit c773c7d5ddbc8ca031614e1c999b05bec43778aa
Author: Jouni Malinen <j@xxxxx>
Date:   Mon Aug 6 19:22:40 2018 +0300

    tests: WPA2-PSK/TKIP and MIC=0 in msg 3/4

and my wireless backports + kernel version is
BACKPORTS_VERSION="v4.4.2-1-0-gbec4037"
BACKPORTED_KERNEL_VERSION="v4.4.2-0-g1cb8570"
The backports is downloaded from https://mirrors.edge.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/backports/stable/v4.4.2/backports-4.4.2-1.tar.xz

This combination gave me this failure from wpas_mesh test script (sudo ./run-tests.py -f wpas_mesh). failed tests: wpas_mesh_secure_sae_password_id wpas_mesh_pmksa_caching_no_match wpas_mesh_pmksa_caching_ext mesh_secure_ccmp_256 wpas_mesh_reconnect wpas_mesh_secure_no_auto wpas_mesh_secure wpas_mesh_password_mismatch mesh_secure_gcmp wpas_mesh_secure_sae_password mesh_secure_gcmp_256 wpas_mesh_pmksa_caching2 wpas_mesh_secure_dropped_frame mesh_secure_ccmp mesh_forwarding_secure

Btw, the gap of failures with/without mesh dfs is almost the same as your result except mesh_forwarding_secure. I could see these 6 additional failure add DFS patches. I'll take a look why.
wpas_mesh_open_5ghz_coex
mesh_open_vht_160
wpas_mesh_open_vht_80p80
wpas_mesh_open_ht40
wpas_mesh_open_5ghz
mesh_oom

Thanks,
Peter
