I am trying to authenticate a client machine connected to hostapd via LAN. I set up configuration files for HostAP accordingly. My LAN authentication HostAP doesn't execute WPA(4 way handshake). Is HostAP not supposed to get to authenticated state when authenticating a client connected via LAN? I have also seen the code ,seems like WPA is not present for wired networks. Following are my logs: tap0: STA 00:11:22:33RADIUS: Received RADIUS packet matched with a pending request, round trip time 0.00 sec RADIUS packet matching with station 00:1c:64:05:80:75:69:43 MS-MPPE-Send-Key - hexdump(len=32): [REMOVED] MS-MPPE-Recv-Key - hexdump(len=32): [REMOVED] tap0: STA 00:11:22:33IEEE 802.1X: old identity 'TESTEAP' updated with User-Name from Access-Accept 'TESTEAP' tap0: STA 00:11:22:33IEEE 802.1X: decapsulated EAP packet (code=3 id=83 len=4) from RADIUS server: EAP Success EAP: EAP entering state SUCCESS2 IEEE 802.1X: 00:11:22:33BE_AUTH entering state SUCCESS tap0: STA 00:11:22:33IEEE 802.1X: Sending EAP Packet (identifier 83) IEEE 802.1X: 00:11:22:33BE_AUTH entering state IDLE _______________________________________________ Hostap mailing list Hostap@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/hostap
