p2p group formation fails

Hello all,

I'm trying to setup a P2P group between two RasberryPi boards using the latest kernel and wpa_supplicant:

root@raspi2:/home/juspo# uname -a
Linux raspi2 4.9.13-v7+ #974 SMP Wed Mar 1 20:09:48 GMT 2017 armv7l GNU/Linux

root@raspi2:/home/juspo# wpa_supplicant -v
wpa_supplicant v2.6
Copyright (c) 2003-2016, Jouni Malinen <j@xxxxx> and contributors

I have tried to setup a group using a GO negotiation and an explicit group creation, but both methods fail.

When using GO negotiation and PIN authentication, the joining board fails with timeout(?):

1491900262.163169: p2p-dev-wlan0: Event TX_STATUS (17) received
1491900262.163218: p2p-dev-wlan0: EVENT_TX_STATUS dst=ba:27:eb:bf:2b:36 type=0 stype=13
1491900262.163251: Off-channel: Delete matching pending action frame (dst=ba:27:eb:bf:2b:36 pending_action_tx=0x8f5978)
1491900262.163283: Off-channel: TX status result=1 cb=0x414d4
1491900262.163307: P2P: Clear Action TX work @0x8f5918 (wait_time=500)
1491900262.163367: P2P: Action frame TX callback (state=1 freq=2412 dst=ba:27:eb:bf:2b:36 src=ba:27:eb:29:8b:97 bssid=ba:27:eb:bf:2b:36 result=1 p2p_state=CONNECT)
1491900262.163405: P2P: GO Negotiation Request TX callback: success=0
1491900262.163439: P2P: State CONNECT -> CONNECT
1491900262.163475: P2P: Set timeout (state=CONNECT): 0.100000 sec
1491900262.263669: P2P: Timeout (state=CONNECT)

However, when using explicit group creation, the connection advances to EAP negotiation phase but never completes. All I am getting are messages:
<3>WPS-M2D dev_password_id=0 config_error=15

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I have attached zipped logs of both wpa_supplicant and wpa_cli.

Best regards,
~Justas
