alas, for as long as we have to support plugins with GTK2 GUIs, the many nice things in GTK3 remain out of reach for us.
Works in Gtk 2 as well, just means you have to learn Gtk 2's somewhat more cryptic gtkrc theme format to specify your rebinding set. (Not that CSS can't be cryptic at times...but at least it's more widely known.) Like Emmanuele Said, this functionality is quite old.
