Hello,

as I'm unsure if this variables have to be handled by glib: My glib2-Version is 2.36.1

And here my setting of the G_* variables:
$ set | grep G_
G_BROKEN_FILENAMES=1
G_FILENAME_ENCODING=@locale

I also tried:

G_FILENAME_ENCODING=ISO-8859-1 with G_BROKEN_FILENAMES unset. Doesn't work, too.

Those variables seem to do nothing...

Yours

Manuel
