Hello. I'm not using gnome, but I installed GTK3. I have compiled Evince 3.1.90, which uses GTK3, and installed the Adwaita theme. When I start Evince, I get (lt-evince:7563): Gtk-WARNING **: Could not load named theme "Adwaita": Error parsing stylesheet even though I have, in ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini [Settings] gtk-theme-name = Adwaita gtk-fallback-icon-theme = gnome gtk-toolbar-style=GTK_TOOLBAR_ICONS and I have Adwaita in /usr/share/themes/Adwaita/gtk-3.0: $ ll total 45 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 480 2011-03-29 18:50 assets/ -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3525 2011-08-16 17:30 gtk.css -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 32240 2011-03-29 18:49 gtk-widgets.css -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 237 2011-03-29 18:49 settings.ini All the files in this location are readable by everybody.
