Hi all, I was wondering if i can get some pointers on using glib (LGPL) code on some iphone software we plan to do. Even though LGPL lets you be compatible as long as you provide, minimal source, object files plus instructions + “permit the user to recombine or relink the Application with a modified version of the Linked Version to produce a modified Combined Work", the blog http://loufranco.com/blog/files/lgpl-and-the-iphone.html brings up some interesting points around the 99$ apple fee. The way i interpret 'You may not impose a license fee' (in the GPL clause 10) is that the developer should not impose a fee and not that a tool that is needed for compiling is to be paid for. Can any of the copyright owners or developers shed some light on this. Is there any other issues using glib on iphone. Thanks. _______________________________________________ gtk-list mailing list gtk-list@xxxxxxxxx http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gtk-list
