Yes, the native theme in GTK should be fixed.  But in the meantime,
whatever Ekiga is using for a theme in that screenshot looks great to
me.  What theme is it?  I think it is very nice.  The colors seem to
match what is expected, and the sharper edges actually look quite
professional to me.  I don't think an average Windows user is even going
to notice any differences, as long as the UI functions as he or she
thinks it ought to.  Besides that, most Windows Apps seem to have their
own widgets these days.  Most don't look near as good even.
