Hello, I am new at compiling programs on the command line. I am a user of OS X and trying to install Dia which requires Gtk+. I installed with no problem the following: pkg-config intltool 0.40.5 fontconfig 2.6.0 GLib 2.2.3 ATK 1.2.4 FreeType 2.3.7 Then I do ./configure for Pango, with no error message, but then 'make' gives a host of error messages of the type: make all-recursive Making all in pango Making all in opentype /bin/sh ../../libtool --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -DPANGO_ENABLE_ENGINE -DSYSCONFDIR=\"/usr/local/etc\" -DLIBDIR=\"/usr/local/lib\" -DG_DISABLE_DEPRECATED -DG_DISABLE_CAST_CHECKS -pthreads -I/usr/local/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/local/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include/freetype2 -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/X11/include -I../.. -g -O2 -Wall -c ftxopen.c gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -DPANGO_ENABLE_ENGINE -DSYSCONFDIR=\"/usr/local/etc\" -DLIBDIR=\"/usr/local/lib\" -DG_DISABLE_DEPRECATED -DG_DISABLE_CAST_CHECKS -pthreads -I/usr/local/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/local/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include/freetype2 -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/X11/include -I../.. -g -O2 -Wall -c ftxopen.c -fno-common -DPIC -o .libs/ftxopen.o ftxopen.c:18:40: error: freetype/internal/ftstream.h: No such file or directory I also installed the Lib-Xft What may be wrong?
