Hi, I just downloaded Tor Lillqvist's packages for GTK on windows, and unzipped them under linux. Running gtk-demo.exe gives: wine ./gtk-demo.exe err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} not registered err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} not registered err:ole:create_server class {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} not registered err:ole:CoGetClassObject no class object {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} could be created for context 0x7 (gtk-demo.exe:8): GLib-WARNING **: g_main_context_prepare(): main loop already active in another thread fixme:font:ExtTextOutW flags ETO_NUMERICSLOCAL | ETO_NUMERICSLATIN | ETO_PDY unimplemented fixme:font:ExtTextOutW flags ETO_NUMERICSLOCAL | ETO_NUMERICSLATIN | ETO_PDY unimplemented fixme:font:ExtTextOutW flags ETO_NUMERICSLOCAL | ETO_NUMERICSLATIN | ETO_PDY unimplemented ... (continuing) Anything which has text on it is completely mis-rendered, and it looks as though the glyphs are scaled to a massive scale, and over-lapping. I also tried the windows installer for GIMP under wine, and text has similar brokenness. /home/pcjc2/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/GIMP-2.0/bin/gimp-2.2.exe err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} not registered err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} not registered err:ole:create_server class {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} not registered err:ole:CoGetClassObject no class object {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} could be created for context 0x7 (gimp-2.2.exe:8): Pango-WARNING **: couldn't load font "MS Shell Dlg 8", falling back to "Sans 8", expect ugly output. (gimp-2.2.exe:8): Pango-WARNING **: couldn't load font "MS Shell Dlg Bold 8", falling back to "Sans Bold 8", expect ugly output. Can anyone suggest if this a Wine bug, or a problem with how I've got things installed?
