It is not possible to put this feature back in without breaking the API. I am very torn as I think this was the single-most useful feature of the original dialog. On the other hand I don't see how this feature can be fit into the new dialog box without breaking it's behavior in several ways. Not to mention UI guidelines. > Here is the situation: > > o File->Open > o Start typing full path > o Tab to complete some of the names. > o I want the file area to update now so that I can select multiple > files. > > Using 'gtkpod' I have to click (or Alt-O) to get the directory I want > 'opened' so I can see all the files I want to import. > Is there a hidden toggle that I can set to restore this capability? > > ...Jeff > > _______________________________________________ > gtk-list mailing list > gtk-list@xxxxxxxxx > http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gtk-list > _______________________________________________ gtk-list mailing list gtk-list@xxxxxxxxx http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gtk-list
