Removed theme

I have been using Gnome desktop on Freebsd for several years, and it works
great. However, there is one small aspect of the new release that was
dissapointing, quote below from the gnome website:

Removals and other notes

     *

Due to the lack of active maintainership, the themes Grand-Canyon,
Ocean-Dream, Simple, Smokey-Blue, and Traditional were removed. Likewise,
the Lighthouseblue and Metal theme engines were removed as well

I have my desktop setup as follows:
Theme preference:Traditional hard-edged 3D appearance
Theme details - controls:Metal
Window border:Bright

Is there any way I can continue using my current configuration on new
installs? If so, what is the procedure (what files do I need to copy and
to where)? I tried searching google and art.gnome.org for the Metal
theme but I could not find it. Any help is really appreciated.

I am not on the list please cc me. Also, if this is not the correct place
to ask this question I apologize.

TIA
