only one window/widget has "focus" at a time, its actually more
appropriatly called "keyboard focus", keyboard events get delivered to
the window that has keyboard focus (right now the editable text view
of my thunderbird application has focus, unless ofcourse; you all
recieve an empty email ;-p ).
