Installation of GTK is an involved process with lots of dependencies and
it'll really help you, if you read the above thoroughly before starting.

friends I'm having some problem in make of pango
I have following dir structure
/<xyz>/gtk/glib-2.6.0
/<xyz>/gtk/pango-2.6.0
when I do make for pango , the error st. is
in file included from ftxopen.c:18
: otlbuffer.h 17:18 glib.h no such file or directory found
oltbuffer.h includes glib.h which is in
/<xyz>/gtk/glib-2.6.0/glib/glib.h
it seems the problem is because glib.h is in a diffrent directory
and that glib also includes a lot many other .h files
Pleaes let me know how to go about solving this.
