Warning when drawing on a Gnome canvas

I have an app which needs to draw numerous polygons on a canvas, when 
the canvas is displayed I receive the following warnings :
*** attempt to put segment in horiz list twice
*** attempt to put segment in horiz list twice

I really have no idea what causes them and didn't find anything usefull 
in the archives.

Has someone an idea ?
