Hi Clive, Are you using a cross compile tool !? IMHO, the best one is the scratchbox ! It's an virtual enviroment that provides you many types of compilers , for differet target -> arm, ppc, and so on ... It was disigned to programmers compile their embedded application in the same way used to build desktop app ! Take a look at <http://www.scratchbox.org/> btw, you can setup targets, compiles, rootstraps (FS - I use debian based rootstrap -> good for developers) ...
