Admittedly, I haven't been paying attention to the mailing list and don't see anything addressing this over the past couple months, so apologies if there is an answer I missed. This happens with pango 1.8.0 and even happens when configuring glib 2.6.4 with --disable-visibility.
Hopefully it is something simple I'm missing.
