I am new to the GTK toolkit and need some
advice.
We are to develop a new product using embedded
LINUX and need to provide a good GUI.
With that in mind we have been looking at a number
of LCD displays. Those that are used on PDA's are quite cheap.
However they work in 240x320 mode rather than 320x240 which is what we
want.
I was proposing that got the Graphics I use GtkFb
so that X-Windows is not needed. To use the inexpensive PDA displays means rotating
the graphics. Does GTK allow that ?
If not can anyone think of any other solutions to
my problem.
The only other way I guess is to make the device
driver for the display that ships with the embedded LINUX I am to use work the
way round I need it it.
Thanks in advance
Clive
