Well, look for a Linux distribution released 4 years ago or so. It will,
of course, may not work with current hardware, and it will have many
security holes. As well as an obsolete and buggy version of GTK+.

(Note that most linux distributions still provide GTK+-1.2.10 as
an option. And that is API and ABI compatible with GTK+-1.2.8. It's
also very obsolete compared to current GTK+ development, but...)
