Russell, thanks for that. I just grabed pkgconfig-0.15.0.tar.gz. I'll compile and istall it. How will the Glib/pango use that. Is that just part of the ./configure script?
yes. You can use it manually to see what version of library it detects:
pkg-config --modversion glib-2.0 _______________________________________________ gtk-list@xxxxxxxxx http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gtk-list
