Thanks Sven, Actually i did the same what you suggested. I came to know that it's failing in gtk_init() itself. And the problem it used give was: "Gtk-WARNING: cannot open display" and not exactly segementation fault. So i think i must have missed out something while configuring gtk+ for framebuffer. I 'll re do it. Meanwhile if you have more suggessions pls let me know. Thanks again.
