I am trying to currently install gtk+ on my aix machine. I downloaded gtk+-2.0.9.tar.gz which i assumed was the correct version for aix 4.3.3. I put the tar file on a cd and then unzipped it on the aix machine. Now the problem is when i try to run the configure it doesnt show as a unix shell script, and I have not been able to run configure to install gtk+. Am I missing something or did I possibly do something incorrectly.
