Thanks very much to all who replied. Yes I am using the default bluecurve theme and this must be the reason I'm having a problem. The application is controlling some hardware and I'm using the bars to display various changing parameters. Using different colors enables the operator to be able to differentiate between them easily. Thanks again, Nick.
