Hi, It seems that playbin could not decode back test.avi file. Avi file can be recorded using different decoding scheme. Try to to gst-inspect avimux and you will see all the possible sink it takes as input. My experience with playbin is that it does not always work. So you have demultiplex and decode and then have to play to sink.
