i checked out the git repo and defaulted to the master branch. i started
going through my Gentoo patches and found some that should be applied. so i
commit them, but then attempts to push fail:
$ git push
Counting objects: 11, done.
Compressing objects: 100% (6/6), done.
Writing objects: 100% (6/6), 794 bytes, done.
Total 6 (delta 5), reused 0 (delta 0)
error: unable to create temporary sha1 filename ./objects/tmp_obj_MctZjZ:

fatal: failed to write object
error: unpack failed: unpacker exited with error code
To git+ssh://git-gpm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/home/server/git/gpm
 ! [remote rejected] master -> master (n/a (unpacker error))
error: failed to push
to 'git+ssh://git-gpm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/home/server/git/gpm'

i can read from this account just fine, but apparently i cant write

so i grabbed the latest 1.99.2.1 tarball and apparently it has fixes the
master branch does not. what's up ?
