I need the libgpm, and only libgpm, built, and then gpm server built against this (already installed) libgpm, found via pkg-config. I've got very strict policies at this point. My further plan in short words: + further tests on libgpm + split off the gpm server and rewrite to build against an already installed libgpm (found via pkg-config) + put both into some cumulative package, which can be build just as the current gpm package. Meanwhile we also should try to get in the pkg-config stuff, and let several parts to be switched off as you suggested, optionally build the server against an installed libgpm, etc. cu -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Enrico Weigelt == metux IT service - http://www.metux.de/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please visit the OpenSource QM Taskforce: http://wiki.metux.de/public/OpenSource_QM_Taskforce Patches / Fixes for a lot dozens of packages in dozens of versions: http://patches.metux.de/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ gpm mailing list gpm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linux.it/listinfo/gpm
