Hi, The gpm -D output is as following:
[root@scope10 gpm-cvs]# /usr/sbin/gpm -m /dev/mouse -t synps2 -D -Rms3 *** info [gpn.c(369)]: Started gpm successfully. Entered daemon mode. *** debug [synaptics.c(2866)]: Initializing Synaptics PS/2 TouchPad *** info [synaptics.c(1895)]: Firmware version 5.9
And finally I got the scrolling worked in X by using these options to start gpm.
