My apologies to everybody, I was lazy in extracting entries from the logs by 
doing (more |grep today's date) and so doing dropped all the info...
Now appending a new version of the email with proper logs.

Dear All, I'm trying to install a Lifesize Express 220 and am really stuck.

Configuration:
External gatekeeper (gnugk 3.0.2) (in DMZ)
Internal gatekeeper (gnugk 3.0.2) (in LOC)
Lifesize Express 220 system version LS_EX2_4.11.8 (14)

All H323 hosts on local network can make/receive outside/inside calls, so the 
gateeepers should work fine as they did for a long time. 
>From the (new) Lifesize I can make/receive H323 calls to/from any H323 host on 
the local network, so it should work fine.
I can receive calls from outside hosts to the Lifesize.
No way to MAKE calls outside from that box.

I thought it might have to do with the reserved ports and tried all 
combinations to no avail.

Can anyone shed any light?

Here are the excerpts of the logs (-tttt) of the internal and external 
gatekeepers when placing a call from the Lifesize to an external MCU, getting 
the 'not available' signal from the Lifesize and dropping the call.
Clocks are not perfectly synchronized, but one should be able to follow 
events.
Needless to say, I can connect just fine to the MCU from my Mac (using the old 
xmeeting), so there are no external problems.
