RTP Proxying

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,
I'm trying to proceed with the windows version as I haven't figured out why my Linux versions do not register to the VCS yet. After successfully registering the GnuGk to the Cisco VCS as traversal client, I'm trying to use it as a media router. The idea is to connect a non-h.460.18/h.460.19 capable endpoint to the GnuGk and use it as a proxy to convert the signaling into h.460.18 and the media streams into a H.460.19 multiplexed RTP and send it through the traversal zone to the VCS.

The proxy-section in the configuration looks as follows:
[proxy]
enable=1
InternalNetwork=192.168.1.0/24
ProxyAlways=1
RTPMultiplexing=1

However, the mediadata is not RTP-Multiplexed. Is the described usage supported or did I misunderstand the documentation? Am I missing something?

Best regards,

Immo
