Just a note on additive registration and how it works. When an endpoint attempts to register to the child the RRQ (with user/pass) is sent to the parent as an additive registration. The parent may authenticate this additive RRQ and add the alias to the child's gateway alias list. The RCF comes back to the child and the endpoint is then registered in the child. When unregistering an URQ is sent to the parent and the alias is removed from the child's gateway alias list. There is also a new %{additive-rrq} parameter in SQLAuth so you can apply different rules to the child registration and it's additive registration. So you may force password authentication on the child but only alias authentication to its additives.
