Hi,

usually the gatekeeper doesn't assign extension numbers (or 'aliases'
like H.323 calls them) to endpoints. The endpoint registers with an
alias (or more commonly a list of aliases) and thats what the
gatekeeper uses to identify the destination of a call.

Using user@xxxxxxxxxxx is a very common format to use ('Annex O
dialing'). All you need to do is configure your endpoint to add this
alias to its registration with the gatekeeper and then the other
endpoints can call it using this name.

And you really shouldn't even think about using Netmeeting. ;-)

Regards,
Jan
