Re: Rewriting from Neighbor problems.

Andrew,

With all your experimentation with the rewriting methods, is there a way to rewrite the E164 of your end points as they dial out? I want to assign my local end points with 4 digit E164 aliases but when they make a call that gets passed onto a neighbor I need a prefix added to the 4 digit aliases so the full GDS number will be presented to the dialed (external) end points.

Found my own answer with a bit of experimentation and reverse logic.

Instead of

[RasSrv::GWRewriteE164]
GNUGK002=in=932=;

did;

[RasSrv::GWRewriteE164]
GNUGK003=out=932=;

[Neighbor::GNUGK003]
SendPrefixes=932

[Neighbor::GNUGK002]
AcceptPrefixes=932

The GWReWriteE164 takes effect on an outbound LRQ, not on an inbound.
Hope this is helpful to others.
