Hi Lorenzo,

GnuGk will not close a database connection, because it is idle. Its
most probably your database that closes the connection after some
timeout.

Starting with GnuGk 2.2.8, GnuGk will try to re-connect to the database
in case a sql command fails. SO there should be no need to restart
GnuGk.
