 ~]# gnugk -t -c gk.ini
gnugk: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0.9.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

There were a few other errors, but I installed the appropriate packages and those errors went away. But I'm stuck on this.

I have /lib/libssl.so.0.9.8g and I tried making a symlink for libssl.so.0.9.8 but that didn't work. Does libssl.so.0.9.8 need to live somewhere else?

thanks

Michael
