Hi Stephen,

Are you sure you don't have that library in the /usr/X11R6/lib directory?
I don't have so much experience with Mac OSX but as far as I know there 
might be a name mismatch.

Check in that directory for some expat library that could be named like 
/usr/X11R6/lib/libexpat.0.X.dylib or whatever
where X can be any number from different releases.
If this is the case, create a symlink to that directory (don't 
phisically rename the libs) calling it as GnuGK expects according
to the error you get.
