Nortel Meridian GK and GnuGK

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi
I dropped an email earlier about the situation but havent recvd any reply so far. Can anybody please give me some clue or any idea about the direction I should research. I know its just around the corner, just stuck in the middle.
 Here is the situation.
A Nortel Meridian PBX installd with two IP-to-PSTN voice gateways(Succession). An H.323 Gatekeeper integrated with the signaling server. All EPs register with signaling server and it provides connectivity with VGWs (if required for PSTN calling) as follow:

|VGW| <-> |SS| <-> |EP1|
                |GK| <-> |EPn|

For the sake of my own knowledge and research I was wondering if
there's some way I can integrate GnuGK with it and could use to terminate
calls on those gateways using GnuGK. I know I jus need to get to that SS GK using GNuGK and all calls from my GnuGK should be accepted by that SS GK and terminated on VGWs onwards as follows:

|VGW| <-> |SS| <-> |EP1|
                |GK| <-> |EPn|
                 ^
                 |
                 v
            |GnuGK|

But How? that I dont know :(
I need to do it for the sake of my curiosity and research purpose that any H.323 system is integrable with any other H.323 system even if its a properietery deployment, if tweaked properly.

Regards
Muhammad Asif
