basically the gatekeeper does well when sending an ARJ to a dialed number he doesn't know.

As you suggested, there is an overlap dialing implementation in the gk (check the cvs - as far as i remeber, you will need to compile it because it's optional).

But be aware - when i have tested, it didn't really work - it was quite buggy and did not behave as expected or let's say at least as it is expected realted to SS7 and DSS1.
