Re: Cisco 7206xvr not registering on GnuGK - Help !

I think there was too much information in my last post so let me cut it to the principal;

How can I verify what is going wrong with a gateway not able to register
onto GnuGK when the only line I get is:

LCF|216.48.176.54|2667_endp|212374229843#553334214558:dialedDigits|216.48.176.54;

Could it be codec negotiation ? how can I check that ?

Thanks for any hint !
Fred

Subject: Cisco 7206xvr not registering on GnuGK - Help !

How are you folks,

I am a starter with GnuGK but have succeded in connecting end points
direcly to it and making calls but I am failing at interconnecting with another Gatekeeper...
I urgently need help as it is related to my work... :- )

I have this scenario that works: SJPhone -> GnuGK -> Asterisk
and this one that fails : Cisco 7206vxr -> GnuGk -> Asterisk

I am using tech prefixes in front of the phone numbers to redirect to
the correct gateway. In this case I have two.

The Cisco is identified with "dollar" in the config and the asterisk registers
with a tech prefix.

Ideally I would like to validate end points and other gatekeepers just with their
Ip address, I have succeded in doing this using SJPhone and putting its IP
in the FileIPAuth..but not with the gatekeeper, here is the info below.

Cheers,
Frederic

and this is what the guy with the cisco gets. The guy IP is 216.48.176.54 :

PeerAddress=212374229843#553334214558

DisconnectCause=15

DisconnectText=call rejected (21)

and this is the only line I get on the gnugk:

LCF|216.48.176.54|2667_endp|212374229843#553334214558:dialedDigits|216.48.176.54;

if i put my ip in the fileipauth section and use SJphone to connect with

the same prefix (212374229843#) it works perfectly, anobody has a small

hint about this ? I am really stuck on this one since I dont get any error message.
