Yes, it's possible.
Use the documentation from 
http://yate.null.ro/pmwiki/index.php/Main/Documentation and for IVR use:
http://yate.null.ro/pmwiki/index.php/Main/WritingIVR and 
http://yate.null.ro/pmwiki/index.php/Main/IVR

To use native mysql database support in Yate use the message: "database".
