Maybe try to compose two rules. One that matches
one digit and rewrites it to the same digit (.=. or something
like this) and the second one in the form any=1234.
The first one should take priority unless there is no CLI.

I want to do some conditional rewriting in GNUGK. I am using 2.2.3-2. I
went through the CLI-Rewrite section of the manual but not sure how can
I rewrite CLI in particular calls where there is no CLI.
i.e. Rewrite CLI if CLI is not present in that call (or if no CLI
headers at all).
your help will be highly appriciated.
Thank you
