On my BSD system error 24 corresponds to EMFILE (too many open files).
Check your errno.h for details.

Q931 x.x.x.x:1720 DIDN'T ACCEPT THE CALL
any idea? The gnugk only use 46M memory (showed in top).
I have compiled with large_fdset 16384.
