I did add ODBC support to pwlib (not quite yet in the CVS), the version only supports windows but can be very easily ported (almost identical) in linux using unixODBC , which can do about 12 different databases including mySQL, ORACLE, DBASE etc... and I just added postgreSQL.

If you guys are interested, I wouldn't take much it merge it into GNUGK.
