Does the level 5 log contains any information about any signal being received?
BTW make optnoshared will do the job with static pwlib/openh323 linking.

Hi can anyone help me with a strange problem:
I have Kanotix 2005-02 which is based upon Debian. I installed the latest
binaries of gnugk 2.2.2 both from the debian software repository (apt-get)
and the gnugk website.
With all 2.2.x versions of gnugk. it isn't possible to make the running
gatekeeper to reload its configuration (kill -HUP pid). Doing the same on an
old 2.0.7 version does work perfectly.
The strange thing is that I can trigger a config reload using the gnugk-java
gui by pressing the reload button both on 2.2.2 and 2.0,7.
I have to reload by script as I have a dynamic IP adress.
What's wrong? I don't want to compile my own version as it would depend on a
given pwlip/openh323 version (how would I link statically btw??)
Thank you in advance for your help.
Conrad
