Heh,

I thought you are using cisco for NATing your endpoints; I mean Cisco 'sh ver' to check if it supports features I talked about.

While using Cisco boxes for NATed H323 endpoints you have use IOS with some special features such as:

NAT - Enhanced H.225/H.245 Forwarding Engine
NAT - Support for H.323 Fragmented Control Messages
NAT - Support for H.323v3 and v4 in v2 Compatibility mode
NAT - Support of H.323v2 Call Signaling (FastConnect)

it depends on your configuration which ones you need.
You can check it in Cisco feature navigator:
cisco.com/go/fn (you need CCO login)
or send your 'sh ver' here - I can check it for you.

Best regards

Hi,

I had similar problem with GnuGK 2.2.2; It seems that it is problem with NAT - I solved it with setting DMZ on my Planet router for an ip phone; While I used port forwarding only (ports 1720 for signalisation and UDP range for RTP) it doesnt work with Planet router. Hovewer, my colegue is using Pentagram router and it works fine with port forwarding only.
